REVIEW:
Snow Falling in Bluegrass takes us back into the world of the KCT (Kentucky Tourism Commission). But this time the crew is going on location, well a work retreat. What started out as a fun outing (well as much fun as spending the weekend with your co-workers) soon turns into the snow apocalypse (think Gillian’s Island covered in snow, no power, no heat, no phones, no internet, lots of ice, snow and ice. Oh and your co-workers). But it is not all bad. There is Auntie Nina’s rubbery bacon cheeseburger pizza cooked in a gourmet redneck oven, The Professor, Fort Kelsey, a very cranky marsupial, the lost of panties, and some sweet revenge that smells like popcorn.
Another awesomesauce story from Molly Harper. I love how Molly can bring together such a great story while delivering some of the funniest stuff I have ever read. I have never meet a Molly Harper book that didn’t leave me in tears, gasping for air, and loving every page of what I read. I am already preparing for my Molly Harper book withdrawals (trust me it is not pretty)
As always I listened to this book on audio, because one I love love love Amanda Ronconi reading to me. Two, I love listening to Molly’s stories because Amanda brings the character to life in a way that I am not my mind could do. And three because I am weird and I started Molly’s books on audio and plan to continue listening to them on audio. But I do still own them all on paper or in ebook form (Yes, I know I have a book hoarding issue. No, I don’t need help :D )

“I would follow with cream cheese” I told him “My vengeance is best served with bagels.”
“You’re an incredibly strange girl, and I mean that in the best possible way.”
If you have not picked up a Molly Harper *wiggles finger at you* shame on you. I demand you go grab one of Molly’s book and try it out.

I did this in audio and as always Harper's humorous chuckling romance read by Amanda Ronconi is a winning combo and truly "revenge is best served hot with butter" . This was a lot of fun and made me hope that this is not the last of a trilogy.
I love Molly Harper and she never fails to make me laugh. I was determined to not read this book in one sitting. I failed. As a born and bred Kentuckian (West Kentuckian at that), I loved that this book was set in LBL area. Can't tell you how many hours I have spent in that area and Molly does an amazing job describing the landscape. I still have family members living in the area and were affected by this storm. They probably wish they had this much fun. Lol.

Loved reading about Kelsey and seeing all our favorite KCT characters again and in one place. If you haven't tried any of Molly's books yet, you are definitely missing out. I don't want to say much more because I always tend to accidentally give stuff away and everyone should have the absolute joy of reading this themselves. I love the friendships and romance of this series.
What a set up this book had! It was perfect! And I think anyone who has read the first two books in the series wanted to see the favorable outcome for the characters! No spoilers, but...ummmm...finally! I highly recommend this series!
I wasn’t sure she could top Book 2....but she did ! Hysterically funny at times, heartbreaking at others. Might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but she was spot on for me!
Once again, I can't get enough of Molly Harper! I am so thrilled we finally got a book about Kelsey! She is definitely one of my very favorite characters, and I loved every part of this book.
Seeing her kick Daryl to the curb and unleash "her boys" on them was beautiful, and the play between her and Charlie kept me laughing and sighing and on the edge of my seat for more!
Of course, it wouldn't be a Harper book without plenty of laughs and nerdy references, all of which I adore.
I just want to be a character in her books and in her world!
I was looking forward to this book because I do love me a nerdy hero. Unfortunately this story didn’t do it for me. The romance was lacklustre and ultimately I was more than a little disappointed. The flow of the story was still good, and the characters were great, but not a book I would recommend if you’re looking for a romantic read.
Kelsey has always been the level-headed organized assistant at the Kentucky Tourism Commission. But after going through a rough break up (that she still hasn't told anyone about), she's really looking forward to the annual KTC retreat. What no one is looking forward to is getting snowed in at the lodge they've booked for the weekend. But when snowpocalypse hits, there's nothing left to do but gather rations of food and wait it out.

Kelsey hopes this will give her a chance to figure out why Charlie, her office bff, has been acting distant towards her lately. She's always had a secret crush on Charlie, but she doesn't know if she wants to risk everything (i.e. their friendship) if he's not interested. With eye candy Ranger Luke around, it shouldn't be too difficult to keep her mind off Charlie's strange behavior.

The attraction between Kelsey and Charlie has been hinted at since the first book My Bluegrass Baby so I was really happy when I found out this short book would finally feature these two working it out. With Molly Harper's signature wit and humor this is a great book to read when you're wanting something light and fun. It's short and able to be read (and possibly re-read) in a day. I like the break Molly Harper takes from the paranormal series she also writes. Molly Harper is an auto-buy for me and I highly recommend any / all of her books.
